The Hunt for Stolen Wheels: Uncovering Auto Theft Hotspots in the GTA with Interactive GIS Web Application

"The Hunt for Stolen Wheels" is a web application built on ASP.NET Core Razor, using C#, GeoJSON, and JavaScript. It visualizes auto theft data in the Greater Toronto Area with ArcGIS, enabling users to analyze crime patterns through heatmaps, time filters, and interactive map widgets. Powered by the Neon PostgreSQL database, it manages over 50,000 rows of data up to 2024. Deployed on Heroku, the app ensures scalability and accessibility. Key packages include Dapper, Serilog, and AutoMapper, enhancing performance and maintainability. Integrated with ArcGIS Online, it delivers powerful crime analysis for community safety.
